Peanut oil

Peanut oil is pressed from peanuts. This oil is clear and pale yellow in colour. Fun fact: the residual product of peanut oil is the precursor of the Dutch peanut butter.

Peanut oil can be used for cooking at high heat (up to 230 degrees Celcius) and is therefore very suitable for baking, frying, grilling, stir frying and deep frying. Peanut oil is also delicious in cold sauces and dressings.
